Discussing Collins' career, noting that though Dickens is "not in the habit of making professions," he has "so strong an interest in [Collins] and so true a regard of [him], that nothing can come amiss in the way of information as to [Collins'] well-doing." Inquiring after Collins' health and wishing he were also at Dover. Approving of the idea Collins suggested to [William Henry] Wills [sub-editor at Household Words], and making an appointment for Saturday morning.
